There doesn't seem to be a lot of questions there?
You're right, and it's totally deliberate! A big problem with a lot of surveys we see is that they're simply too long, and people stop before they finish them, or if they do finish, they swear not to bother next time!
So our Surveys are designed to extract maximium information with the least number of questions and effort. That's why we list the number of 'answers' in each package as well as the number of questions!
How long does it all take?
We'll have a draft version of your survey published within 48 hours, often much sooner. As soon as you check it and give us the go-ahead, we'll schedule it for the next available launch date.
We usually run each survey for seven days. We then collate your results and reports after that, which can take a few days. So you could place your order today, and the whole process could be complete, all reports delivered, within two weeks.
How will you contact my Members?
We contact your Members via email, once with an invitation, and we follow up those who haven't yet completed the survey with 2-3 reminders. You supply us with a list of first name, last name and email address, as a spreadsheet or a CSV text file.
Why do I have to give you their email addresses?
We use a system of tokens to ensure none of your Members complete the survey more than once, and to ensure it is completely anonymous. These are generated for each of your members within our software and sent to them directly, so we need each person's name and email to be entered into our system.
This system also allows us to send reminders to those who haven't yet completed the survey, and allows those not interested to opt-out of hte remeinders. This can have a huge impact on your response rates, so it's highly recommended that you leave this to us.
What if we don't have an email list of our Members?
We can still set up your survey and give you a link to pass on to your Members. They will be required to register to prevent duplicate responses, and that will impact on your response rate.
What if a lot of our Members don't use the internet?
We provide a print-ready version of the survey that you can distribute to those Members without internet access. This data is not entered in the online version though, so doesn't feature in your reports.
What do you do with my Members email addresses?
We treat privacy issues very seriously. We only use your Members Email Addresses for the current survey invitation and reminders. Once we've exported your final respondents list, we delete all email addresses from our server. Our final reports will include a declaration that we have deleted all your Member's details from our system.
Can I write my own questions?
Most of our surveys are set up with tested and effective sets of questions that will work well in most situations. If you require more control, we do have a Custom Golfer Survey available but most Clubs should be able to get the data they need from on of the plug-and-play options.
What sort of response will I get?
This is a tough one to answer but we generally aim for around 50% response rates, when Clients follow all our recommendations. This can be impacted by factors outside our control though, so we cannot make guarantees in this regard.
If we do notice a particularly low response rate, we will notify you and make further suggestions on how you might improve it before the survey closes. We do suggest a number of incentive options to encourage participation, and multiple reminders are essential. (With our system your Members can opt-out of the reminder emails early in the piece, so we do it without annoying them!)
Do you provide analysis of the survey results?
Generally we don't. Most Clubs tend to find it more useful to draw their own conclusions as there are a lot of subjective factors involved. You know your Club and your Members better than we ever could, so you're in the best position to review the data, identify your strengths and weaknesses, and develop a plan to build on the former and address the latter.
If you have specific questions after receiving your reports however, we'll always do our best to assist.
